OUR BEEF:

Golden Oak Farm raises all natural, grass fed beef. Since that can mean differenct things to different people, here is our definition:

All Natural means that our animals are raised without the use of synthetic growth hormones, excessive antibiotics, and excessive amounts of corn. In addition our animals are not fed any animal bi products.

What most people don't realize is that cows were not intended to eat corn. Large amounts of corn will actually make a cow sick, which is why cattle fed in feedlots are given so many antibiotics and medication.

At Golden Oak Farm we raise our beef the way nature intended...ON GRASS. When grass is not available we feed high quality grassy hay. Grass fed beef is lower in cholesterol and a good source of Omega 3 fats. Grass fed animals have a lower instance of E. coli and salmonella.
